Sexual Health Education and Trainings
The University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at OHSU is committed to promoting sexual health for everyone, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In partnership with many organizations, we provide trainings and education to self-advocates, parents, care givers, support staff, teachers, and other professionals across Oregon.
Sexual Self-Determination Certification program
The Sexual Self-Determination Certification program is a three-tiered training program designed to train professionals, as well as self-advocates, parents, and others who provide support, to promote healthy sexuality and relationships for people with disabilities. Oregon Friendships & Dating Program
In 2020-2021, the UCEDD at OHSU is partnering with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to provide training and support to Oregon high school transition programs to teach skills that will promote sexual health and healthy relationships. Learn more about the transition programs support.
